Dawson is a 25-year-old British-Swiss singer and songwriter based in Zurich. Since the age of 13, he has found comfort and strength in capturing his feelings, emotions, and struggles through music. His warm, expressive voice feels like a gentle embrace, while his moving melodies and lyrics radiate courage, confidence, and hope – touching listeners straight to the heart.

In 2021, Dawson came out as part of the LGBTQ+ community – a step that was extremely difficult, as it meant losing his family, home, and familiar surroundings, forcing him to build a new life from scratch. He decided to document his journey from a sect to freedom and his experiences through his music. Dawson hopes his songs will resonate with listeners who can relate and find comfort in his words.

His first singles, “Rainbow Lovers” and “Stranded”, were released in early 2024 and quickly gained attention within the queer community. Afterwards, Dawson chose to focus on mental health and take time for himself to process emotions, loss, and unexplained feelings. From this period came several new songs – including his latest single “Guilt Tripping”, which will be released on January 23, 2026.

Dawson is beyond excited for this new chapter and everything 2026 will bring, as he has been working on a larger project that will be unveiled in the coming weeks.
